Residential Interior Architecture & Design
Aoife Maria Interiors provides full-service residential interior architecture and design for new builds, renovations and existing homes across Ireland, Northern Ireland, the UK and internationally.
From the earliest stages of a project through to installation, we consider the architecture, layout, materials, lighting, joinery, furniture and finishing details as one complete design. Our approach is centred around creating homes that feel personal to the people who live in them, while responding to the character and context of the building itself.

People & place
A Home Designed
Around You

A home should feel like the people who live in it. We begin by listening to your daily routines, the things you collect, the places you love and what you want your home to make room for.
There is no predetermined house style. Your personality and practical needs shape the brief, while the architecture, proportion, natural light and flow guide the design. Each decision grows from that conversation between people and place.
Founded and led by Aoife Maria Tobin, our award-winning studio brings architectural thinking and an understanding of everyday life to each home.

Architecture first
New Builds & Renovations
New builds
Appointing an interior designer early allows the interior to develop alongside the building. We work with your architect, builder and wider project team to connect layouts and flow with lighting, electrical plans, joinery, kitchens and bathrooms.
Materials and finishes are developed together, so decisions made on paper support the way you will use the finished home.
Renovations
We begin with what is already there: the proportions, natural light, views, original features and history of the property. Understanding its character helps us decide what to keep, what to rework and where change will improve everyday life.
From a new opening that draws light into a room to a reconfigured layout, each intervention responds to the existing architecture.
How We Work
Concept
We get to know you and the property, establish the brief and explore layouts, atmosphere and materials. This creates a shared direction for the home.
Design Development
We develop the approved concept into detailed layouts, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting and finish selections. Drawings and specifications bring the decisions together for you and the wider project team.
Procurement & Implementation
We source and coordinate the agreed furniture, lighting and finishes, liaise with suppliers and support the design on site. Installation and final styling bring the rooms together, with our involvement tailored to the agreed scope.
